Omaha Hell Hounds Bring Medieval Combat to Life at the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska
The Omaha Hell Hounds returned to the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska at Bellevue Berry Farm on May 9 and 10, bringing the excitement of live armored combat to festival crowds from across Nebraska and the Midwest.
The Omaha Hell Hounds showcased full-contact medieval fighting demonstrations throughout the weekend. Festival guests experienced the thrill of steel-on-steel combat as fighters battled in authentic armor using medieval weapons in front of cheering crowds.
The event also marked an exciting milestone for several new team members. Haley Rytter, Whitney Tiedeman, and Jack Dennerlein stepped into the list for their very first public fights, gaining hands-on experience in competitive armored combat while performing in front of Renaissance Festival attendees and medieval combat fans.
The Hell Hounds look forward to the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska each year as an opportunity to fight in their home town, connect with the local community, and introduce new audiences to the fast-growing sport of buhurt and armored combat in Nebraska.
Interested in joining the Omaha Hell Hounds? The team welcomes new fighters of all experience levels who are interested in medieval combat training, armored fighting, fitness, and community.
